Motor Management System
To supplement motion control products, IndEx also offers motor management systems for low and high voltage motors respectively.
The low voltage MMSs are flexible, modular motor management systems for low-voltage motors. They can easily and directly be connected to automation systems via PROFBUS or PROFINET. It combines in just one compact system all required protection, monitoring, safety and control functions. The motor management system thus increases plant availability and allows significant savings to be made for installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of a system.
It is the intelligent interface between the higher-level automation system and the motor feeder and includes:
- Multifunctional, electronic full motor protection that is independent of the automation system
- Integrated control functions which mean fewer components for all required functions
- Detailed operating, service and diagnostics data
- Open communication through PROFIBUS DP, PROFINET and OPC UA Server
- Safety relay function for the fail-safe disconnection of motors up to SIL 3 (IEC 61508, IEC 62061) or PL e with Category 4 (EN ISO 13849-1)
Motion Control System
IndEx offers high-end Motion Control Systems for applications with complex motion control. They enable the scalable handling of comprehensive motion functions as well as PLC and technology functions in a motion control system with a common engineering system
They include software that covers all functions and ensures high-speed communication with PROFINET or PROFIBUS. Further, you can select between several programming languages and three different hardware platforms, depending on the respective requirement.
With the inclusion of the OPC UA server with Data Access (DA), the system will secure full openness by offering a comfortable interface to 3rd party devices as well as perfect interoperability across all automation levels
